Abstract:
Abstract Objective: To observe the changes of blood pressure in stroke patients by combining breathing training with conventional rehabilitation training, and explore the effect of breathing training on blood pressure in stroke patients. Method: A total of 40 stroke patients with hypertension who were treated in the Rehabilitation Center of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to December 2021 were randomly divided into two groups, training group and control group. Twenty patients in the control group received routine rehabilitation training, while 20 patients in the training group received breathing training on the basis of routine rehabilitation training. After 2 weeks of training, the levels of blood pressure, heart rate, renin, angiotensin Ⅱand aldosterone were measured. Result: After 2 weeks of rehabilitation training, the blood pressure and heart rate of the training group were lower than those of the control group, and the levels of renin, angiotensin Ⅱ and aldosterone were better than those of the control group, (P<0.05). Conclusion: Respiratory training is effective to lower blood pressure in stroke patients, and its mechanism may be related to the adjustion of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system in the respiratory-sympathetic coupling mechanism through active breathing. The specific mechanism needs to be further explored.
