Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of music-based rhythmic stimulation therapy combined with dynamic and static balance training on balance function and walking function in patients with Parkinson's disease.
Method:eSixty-six patients with Parkinson's disease who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into trial group (n=33) and control group (n=33) from January 2020 to December 2022 in our hospital. Both groups received routine rehabilitation training and dynamic and static balance training, while the trial group received music-based rhythmic stimulation therapy on the basis of the control group. The course of intervention was 8 weeks. Before and after 8 weeks treatment, the two groups were assessed with Berg Balance Scale (BBS), Timed "Up and Go" Test (TUGT), Modified Barthel Index (MBI), Parkinson's disease quality of life questionnaire(PDQ-39) and degree of rehabilitation training satisfaction. The balance function, walking function and PDQ-39 were compared within and between the two groups, and the degree of rehabilitation training satisfaction was also analyzed and compared between the two groups.
Result:The scores of BBS, TUGT, MBI and PDQ-39 improved in trial group and control group after 8 weeks training(P<0.05). The BBS, TUGT, MBI, PDQ-39 and degree of rehabilitation training satisfaction in the trail group were significantly better than those in the control group (P<0.05).
Conclusion:Music-based rhythmic stimulation therapy combined with dynamic and static balance training can improve the balance function and walking function of patients with Parkinson's disease, which has a certain clinical value. |
